I'm an Australian electronic artist, producer, songwriter & DJ based in Brooklyn, New York. The BRUX project emerged in 2018 with releases across Dim Mak, Deadbeats & Kitsune & has since led to collaborations with Kimbra (Replay), Flight Facilities, JamesJamesJames & shows alongside Boys Noize, Machinedrum, Deadmau5 & more. The music I create is urgent, lively & colourful, drawing on themes of female sexuality, empowerment & inclusivity.
My foray into web3 began in 2022, spanning multiple music & visual NFT collections on Sound.xyz, Zora, Kits, Glass, Showtime & Catalog. It's a powerful outlet for me as an artist because I feel creatively limitless & I've managed to grow & connect with a new community of like-minded fans.
I've fully funded an EP (Badboi) + music video with the support of my collectors & have big plans for future releases, events & collaborations for 2024 ahead of me.
In April 2023 during NFTNYC, I curated & hosted my first music event in New York titled "EQUALIZE" at NuBlu that highlighted women in electronic music. With substantial support from Showtime, HiFi Lab & Kits I was able to put on the event I had been dreaming of doing for years, featuring sets from Mija, Dot local DJ Corinne & myself.
This is an event that is very close to my heart & one that I want to put a lot of focus and energy into. I envision EQUALIZE as a popular regular (quarterly) music event here in New York that has a reputation for inclusivity, vibrancy & taste. It's important to me to feature talent in the electronic space who are under represented not only in web3 but in the wider community of the electronic music scene .

The funding of $25,000 - $50,000 will cover costs for the next 3 or 6 EQUALIZE events which include venue hire, paying the talent for each show & marketing to promote it.
